Sarah Probert, Senior Toxicologist at SYNLAB Laboratory Services, has recently been awarded with a MSc in Medical Toxicology with distinction.
Sarah has been studying part-time, fitting in her studies around her full-time job at SYNLAB Laboratory Services, since August 2016.
The qualification is a two-stage process which first involves passing the postgraduate diploma. It is only once this has been awarded that a student can progress to the master’s degree. Sarah was awarded a distinction in her Post Graduate Medical Diploma, Medical Toxicology, in August 2018 and has been working on her master’s since then.
In June 2020 Sarah submitted a dissertation on “A systematic review for the determination of a dose response relationship for impairment of driving from blood opioid concentration” and gained a distinction in Master of Science in Medical Toxicology from Cardiff University.
